[Edit1]:
initially the article said: ".......100.000 vluchten....."(?) What a bad (& distracting) quote 1Limburg!!!!
Accuracy (!) (and imagination/awareness - read this would have meant an average of 274.... flights ..... a DAY! - is VERY scarce these days ..... (especially in journalism)
Of course: 100.000 passengers :D

[Edit2] (guess they read my reply in the mean time): ?Thanks Jenk44 for making 1Limburg aware (....)

Thanks for the correction folks. The article was written by one of the non-expert colleagues...

Maastricht Aachen Airport wil een verbinding krijgen naar Europese hub worden, een luchthaven waar je over kan stappen op andere vluchten."

Sorry, I don't want (nor like to be) an ants-f****r (and it might be considered minorand guess it's just -a bit of- lack) BÚT:
Apart from a grammatical incorrect first sentence, also the content of the/thís message is (therefore) doubtfull..... and cán lead to misinterprets by non-incrowd or arguments for opponents.....
Come on! ..... I take it it's 1Limburg's proféssion to report correct, but lacking editing can lead to wrong-news or even to what we nowadays call fake-news....

Does MAA want to bé a hub, or get connection to one?
What is meant is the latter (as becoming a/the hub is yet a bridge too far).

Nów I'm wondering, eager & curious what wíll be written áfter today's ASTA-meeting.......
As a press / to spread facts, one needs: good eyes and ears ánd a consequent pen! That ís (and should be) córe business!

Thanx & good luck!

At first, this article said that MAA would want to BE the hub. This ofcourse is incorrect, they would like to get a connecting flight to a European hub (old news..). Professionals as they are at L1, they first published false news and then corrected it in a rather amateuristic way.
