MAA results may added . ( looks like peak season already started )

That's also the reason that car parkings are nearly full.

No wishfull thinking, no facts or rumours but just some thoughts.

I am quite sure that a lot of things are going on behind the scene.

Examples given .

Ace/Jetnetherlands.

2 new planes entered sevice at Ace and both planes, E-135 PH-DWS and E-145 PH-DWA performed some
(test/promo ?) flights from MAA.

Not surprised if on short notice, holidays are over, a press release with activities will be announced.

Brexit

see also topic

As Brexit is nearing most likely that more urgent needed goods will travel by air from MAA.

Topic in www.1limburg.nl/extra vluchten , date febr. 26th 2019 still valid.

Corendon

Has been aquired by Triton ( = Sunweb ) and hopefully this combination can bring more flights from MAA
to Spain in the future. ( Lelystad airport still no option for next season ) Can MAA cope with more pax flights
during peak moments ?

An example of pax. flights from MAA. ( source website MAA )

aug. 20th. departure.

0630 - CND 213 to Heraklion
0840 - CND617 to Ohrid
0900 - OTF2313 to Hurghada
1030 - BGH2502 to Burgas
1030 - CAI1284 to Antalya
1350 - CND681 to Kos
1445 - FR6912 to Girona
1530 - CND215 to Faro

Possibilities for more flights during the day/evening still available. ( Liner services and/or charter flights)

------

More examples can easily found and communicated on this topic and be invited to do so.

Yesterday on Luchtvaartnieuws.nl : RYANAIR SLUIT BASES IN SPANJE VANWEGE BOEING 737 MAX
The Gerona-base is also affected. Ryanair wants to close this base in January 2020, so I guess it's the end of the Gerona flights.

Usually, Transavia announce their S20 schedule in the first or second week of September. Maybe a return to MST?
TUI Fly was also mentioned a few months ago as a potential new airline. Very curious.

I think Transavia is the most likely candidate of the two given that Corendon already sells seats on a number of Transavia routes out of Amsterdam. It would allow Corendon to add a number of destinations out of Maastricht without having to open stations exclusively for Maastricht routes.

Yesterday, Transavia announced their S20 schedule (see Luchtvaartnieuws.nl). MST not mentioned at all...
