Re: Terminal / Infrastructure improvements

As David mentioned in lounge section New hub onnections, date oct. 2th. The departure area is quite busy before the 2 Corendon planes will leave. and yes I am worried too that the terminal can not cope with higher peak moments . ( 3 or even more planes) At the time of building the terminal with a c...

Re: MAA - rumours, pax numbers, chat

I'm wondering if there's any update on the hub connection already? It takes forever, and to start in winterseason cannot be good for pax numbers/awareness. It is over a year the airport was taken over and the progress is coming to a stop. It feels a bit like the cargo operators are flying much less...

Re: New hub connections ? - rumours, chat

Well...as some of you may know London Heathrow is just like Amsterdam currently running at 100%, So I don't think a route to Maastricht will be possible in the near future! But why connect to such a huge hub as Heathrow anyway? I think City Airport is way more of a option then Heathrow airport. It'...

Re: New hub connections ? - rumours, chat

Well a connection to a european hub is extremely important for the airport! a simple once a day flight to for example London City Airport, is more then enough! Also has anyone seen people standing at 03 and hold onto the fence when an aircraft is rolling for takeoff? I think you need twice a day as...

Depends about what slots at AMS will be rejected
And given the timespan, I think any news (depending on the slot allocation) will be made public rather quickly. ;)

Re: MST - Silk Way West Airlines

Azerbaijan's Silk Way to add up to twenty B747-8 freighters The President of AZAL Azerbaijan Airlines (J2, Baku) has called on Boeing (BOE, Chicago O'Hare) to keep the B747-8(F) production line active given Azerbaijan's impending need for largescale cargo capacity. Jahangir Askerov told a press con...

Re: Corendon - rumours, pax numbers, chat

Very nice developments from Corendon, but does MST not need more different pax companies to be not too independent from Corendon? Of course it does, but Corendon's confidence in Maastricht helps bringing other carriers to MST too and putting the airport back on the map with holiday travellers. Don'...
